Duuka is currently in early access. This policy describes our current data practices and will be updated as the product develops. If you have questions, reach out at hello@duukaapp.com.
To run your shop on Duuka, we store the information you enter: your business profile, staff accounts, inventory records (including IMEI and serial numbers), sales and payment records, and customer details you choose to save. We also collect basic technical information, such as device type and app version, to keep the service working correctly.
Your shop data is used to run the features you rely on: tracking stock, recording sales, generating reports, and syncing data across your devices and branches. We do not sell your business data to third parties.
Duuka records payment method and reference details you enter (such as a MoMo transaction reference) to help you reconcile sales. Duuka does not process payments itself and does not store mobile money PINs or full account credentials.
Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to secure servers when you have connectivity. We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect it, though no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
You can export or request deletion of your business data by contacting us. If you stop using Duuka, your data remains stored for a limited period before being deleted, unless you request earlier removal.
As Duuka moves out of early access, this policy will be reviewed and updated, and any material changes will be communicated to registered shop owners.
